Mjölk

I really love new-to-me shop, Mjölk (introduced to me by my friend, Chad). The shop is the brainchild of John Baker and Juli Daoust, who named it Mjölk (which means milk) to ensure pure, honest and essential products. I can definitely see that this concept translates into the emerging Japanese and Scandinavian designers featured in the shop. If I ever go to Toronto, I'll make sure to stop by.

P.S. They have the cutest blog.

Girls with glasses

If the internet was my wardrobe I would wear these glasses (only $95 with prescription!) and this outfit today.

Crow House

Sorry for the picture overload, but I'm absolutely in love with these magical photographs of the crow house, shot by Leslie Williamson. I feel like it's a place where fairies or ghosts should live.

P.S. Isn't that toilet the craziest thing you've ever seen?

You Can Take the Girl Out of the Country.....

A fan of all things Lauren Moffatt, I was excited to find out that the fall collection was inspired by Laura Ingalls Wilder, who I am also a fan of. As a kid, I read every single Little House on the Prairie book available - I specifically remember looking up words like "calico" in the dictionary. You should also check out the collection's video:

Pretty clothes, pretty song. Can't go wrong.

Real life love

This video by Paperback Weddings is so sweet and sincere, I had to share it. With our two year wedding anniversary coming up, I'm feeling especially tender toward all things having to do with love.

Party Abroad

I think I've worn the female version of this outfit. You know how sometimes you do a stint in Spain and you come to your small university town (of Provo, UT to be exact) and try to wear the pants, the shirt and the bag all together? And your boyfriend (now husband) is like, what are you wearing??? And your like, hey its cool in Spain.

Don't worry, I no longer dress like a homeless youth traveling through Europe. But following It's Barcelona, Baby! just takes me back. And those videos I posted on Friday have put me in the travel spirit.

Who decides this kind of stuff, anyway???

These posters titled Animals of High Moral Standards and Animals of Low Moral Standards by R.S. Posnak totally made my day. I mean - who gets to decide this kind of stuff??? The posters are available in online shop Animalia (check out their awesome blog) for a mere $30.
