DC is so humid, it feels like summer right now. In celebration, I'm sharing some poolside looks found (and sold as prints) at My Vintage Vogue from the 1950s. How awesome are those swim caps?

So clever

I really love these laptop covers over at twelvesouth, found here. Much cooler than the one I have now. Having studied abroad in Madrid, I can't help but think these would be helpful in preventing theft, as well.

I really love the Spring 2011 Collection over at Edelweiss by Sarah. Maybe its because I just finished Water for Elephants, but sometimes I wished I lived in the 1930s-40s - if only to witness such a glamorous era of style.

Havana days

This engagement shoot shot by Jose Villa and styled by Joy Thigpen (my favorite duo in wedding style) in Havana, Cuba has me swooning. The colors are so soft and creamy - I love it! Check out his non-engagement shots of Havana, here. These photos leave me with a "I want to go to there" feeling.
