Memorial Day

I had an amazing weekend full of swimming, waffles, music, video games (??) and hanging out with friends. I know in my last post I said holidays were really all about the fireworks... but that is not true, at least for this holiday. I went to the national memorial day concert over by the capitol building this weekend and became emotional thinking about all those that have served and are serving my country. So many Americans have had loved ones die or sustain injury. Thousands of families worry everyday for their husband, wife, mother, father, daughter, son, friends, etc. I am really grateful and appreciative of their sacrifice. See more photos here.
