African Headdresses

I've been seeing a lot of African Headdresses lately. I like how the spaces above incorporated them into their rooms. Kinda gives more of playful, bohemian vibe to the rooms. Currently looking for a how-to. I think I can probably make a pom-pom (like this) and then flatten it out? Especially since the ones I've been able to find are out of my price range: $765 at Lisa Madigan and $650 at Jonathan Adler (looks so similar to this one at the Cleveland Museum of Art).

Produce calendar

A much prettier alternative to googling what's in season, these produce calendars by Krank Press are regional - they have New York (which would probably work fine for DC), the Bay Area, Southeast and Northwest. I want one!

Dads are the original hipsters

Loving the tumblr dads are the original hipsters. Its mission? To alert "original" young men that their dads rocked deep-vs, wore colored jeans, loved mother nature and drank obscure sodas long before they could say "American Apparel."

Dear June

Really pretty hand-dyed scarves over at Etsy shop Dear June.

Yea or Nay?

Kind of obsessing over this pleated skirt... but think it might be one of those things I'd have to try on. Currently looking at this American Apparel version and this one from Zara.

7 Habits of Highly Submissive House Elves

A HUGE Harry Potter fan and lover of wit, I had to post these. Can you imagine how awesome book club would be if one of these guys was chosen? If only they actually existed... For now, I'll just have to be happy with the idea.
